# February Visit?

Any inside tips or reasons I shouldn’t plan a visit in the month of February?? Never been there. Completely new territory for us. Looking for a quieter/not crowded place to celebrate a significant anniversary. Thanks for any tips for winter travel in the area!

Hi @DJOChicago. February is a great time to visit. It is the off-season so you will have the trails and hiking areas nearly to yourself. Also, prices for overnight lodging is greatly reduced in February. We highly recommend visiting in February for these reasons!
