Hello Finn, are there any places to fish near Hocking Hills? If so, do you know if we will need a fishing permit. We’re staying at Colonels Quarters.

Hey @Mikecook440, Lake Logan is a great fishing spot that’s open right now. Catfish, small mouth bass, large mouth bass, all kinds of fish. There are multiple spots to fish from. You can park at the Dam on 664 or you can get on Lake Logan Road and pull off at any of the parking spots. Anyone 16 or older will need a fishing license which you can get from Downs Bait Shop [https://hockinghills.com/members/Downs_Bait_Gun.html] or Walmart. Both are right by the lake so you don’t need to go out of your way to get it.
You can also fish at Rose Lake by Old Mans Cave, but it’s closed for the time being.
