Where is a good place to ride bikes and kayak right now?
@careywright72 Lake Logan or Lake Hope would be great places to kayak. Lake Logan is located more within the what people consider the Hocking Hills region, just off highway 33 and near other destinations. Lake Hope is about 30-40 minutes drive from Lake Logan. It has very clear water and is more beautiful in my opinion so definitely worth the drive. Both are great spots.
Are you wanting to mountain bike or road bike? Lake Hope and Tar Hollow both have mountain biking trails. I believe there are also some at Hocking Hills State Park by Old Man’s Cave, but those are closed right now. Both the maps below have mountain biking on them.

For road biking, you have to be extra careful depending upon your route. You can ride along any road in the area, but Big Pine Rd is a popular route. The roads are curvy and you will be sharing it with cars, which can be dangerous.
There is also the HockHocking Adena Bike Path which you can ride any style of bike on. It is more secluded and not on any public roads. Basically a paved path through the woods. It starts in Nelsonville, Ohio (about 15 minutes from Logan) and goes to Athens (home of Ohio University). On this path you’ll ride by some local businesses that you can stop at.
